MonzaHaus Index · v1
The track-bred Porsche lineage. Median sale prices for GT2, GT3, GT3 RS, GT4 and the air-cooled RS progenitors (964 RS, 993 RS) — the cars Porsche built when they wanted to win races.
The MonzaHaus Porsche GT Index covers ten discrete series spanning the GT lineage: 964 RS, 993 RS, 996 GT3 / GT3 RS, 997 GT3 / GT3 RS / RS 4.0, 991 GT3 / GT3 RS / R, 992 GT3 / GT3 RS, 996 GT2, 997 GT2 / GT2 RS, 991 GT2 RS, and the 718 Cayman GT4 / GT4 RS.
Why GT cars deserve their own index: these are the cars Porsche built for a racing homologation or track-focused brief. Their pricing dynamics differ from volume Turbos and Carreras — scarcity, production caps, and motorsport provenance drive a steeper appreciation curve. The GT3 RS 4.0 (≈600 units), 997 GT2 RS (≈500 units), and 911 R (991 units) are treated as trophy assets and trade accordingly.
