This 1998 Porsche 911 Carrera 4 is a triple-black cabriolet that resided with its prior owner for a total of 21 years before their friend offered it on behalf of their estate on BaT in December 2024, and it was listed again in April 2025, afterwards it was purchased in July of that year by the seller, who has driven several hundred of the 8k miles shown. Power is provided by a 3.6-liter flat-six that drives all four wheels through a six-speed manual transaxle, and the car was ordered with the Motor Sound Package. Other details include a Turbo-style front bumper cover, a top boot, 18″ Turbo Twist wheels, a Porsche Classic Radio head unit, and power-adjustable front sport seats. This 993 C4 cabriolet is now offered in Texas with the removed stereo, a tool kit, service records, a clean Carfax report, and a Montana title in the name of the seller’s LLC. The car is finished in Black (L741) and is equipped with a power-retractable black soft top and a top boot, and modifications include a Turbo-style front bumper cover and revised rocker panel trim. Further exterior details include xenon headlights with washers, fog lights, heated power-adjustable mirrors, black rear bumperettes, a speed-activated rear spoiler, dual exhaust outlets, and a “basket handle” fixed rear spoiler with an integrated third brake light. The windshield washer pump was replaced in November 2025. The 18″ Turbo Twist wheels are mounted with Michelin Pilot Sport 4S tires that were installed in November 2025. The car features an Automatic Brake Differential (ABD), and the 993 was the first 911 to feature multi-link rear suspension. Braking is handled by silver-finished Porsche-branded calipers over cross-drilled rotors at all four corners. The replacement power-adjustable front sport seats are upholstered in Black supple leather, and a Porsche storage deck has been fitted in place of the rear seats. A Porsche Classic Radio head unit has been installed under current ownership, and other interior details include a wind deflector, automatic climate control, cruise control, stainless-steel door sill plates, and a trunk-mounted Becker-Porsche CDC-3 six-disc CD changer. The removed Becker-Porsche CR-210 stereo is included in the sale. The leather-wrapped steering wheel frames VDO instrumentation including a central tachometer with a 6,800-rpm redline, a 180-mph speedometer, a Quarz analog clock, and gauges for oil pressure, oil temperature, oil level, and fuel level. The six-digit odometer shows 8k miles, approximately 300 of which were added under current ownership. The air-cooled 3.6L flat-six features a VarioRam intake system and was factory rated at 282 horsepower and 250 lb-ft of torque. An oil change was most recently performed in October 2025. Power is sent to all four wheels via a six-speed manual transaxle. The car was optioned with the Motor Sound Package, which added a revised intake and mufflers. Decoding the option sticker reveals the following information: L741 – Black paint VN – Black interior with leather seats C02 – Version for USA XRB – 18″ SportClassic two-piece wheels X47 – Carbon-fiber gear lever knob X58 – Carbon-fiber handbrake lever X70 – Stainless-steel sill plates 159 – Motor Sound Package 226 – Internal production code related to tires 329 – Becker-Porsche CR-210 stereo 437 – Eight-way electrical seat, left 438 – Eight-way electrical seat, right 454 – Cruise control 490 – Hi-Fi sound system 692 – Becker-Porsche CDC-3 six-disc CD changer 939 – Supple leather rear seats 982 – Supple leather front seats 09991 – Exclusive option The Carfax report shows no accidents or other damage.
