This 1976 Porsche 912E was modified in RS-style under prior ownership, including a longhood conversion and the installation of a fiberglass ducktail decklid and bumpers. Power is supplied by a 2.7L flat-six linked with a five-speed manual transaxle, and the car is finished in Grand Prix White with red Carrera graphics over black and houndstooth cloth upholstery. Equipment includes 15″ aftermarket wheels with red centers, H4 headlights, a 917-style shift knob, and front sport seats. It was previously listed on BaT in October 2025 and was acquired by the selling dealer in 2026. This backdated 912E is now offered at no reserve in California with a clean Florida title. Originally finished in Copper Brown Metallic, the car received a longhood conversion along with rear fender flares, RS-style bumpers, and a ducktail decklid before being repainted in Grand Prix White with red Carrera-style graphics. Exterior front hood latches and H4 headlights have been added along with Euro-style taillights. There is glue around both sides of the cowl and paint drips underneath the doors. The sunroof is inoperative. The 15″ aftermarket wheels feature red centers and are mounted with 205/60 Michelin tires. A space-saver spare is stored in the front trunk. Stopping power is provided by four-wheel disc brakes. A front strut tower brace has been added. The front sport seats are trimmed in black with houndstooth cloth centers, and black leatherette covers the fold-down rear seats. RS-style door panels and a wood 917-style shift knob have been installed. The selling dealer notes that the driver’s seat tilt function was repaired ahead of the sale. There are cracks in the dash pad. The three-spoke steering wheel sits ahead of VDO instrumentation that consists of a 150-mph speedometer, a centrally mounted tachometer, and gauges for fuel level, oil level, oil temperature, and oil pressure. An AEM fuel/air ratio gauge is fitted on the radio blanking plate. The six-digit odometer has broken since the last auction, and it is unreadable. Total mileage is unknown. The 2.7-liter flat-six was sourced from a 1975 911S and features dual PMO carburetors. A compression test and oil change were performed in December 2024. Power is sent to the rear wheels through a five-speed manual transaxle.
