Additional service has included replacing the soft top hydraulic cylinders, the speed-activated rear spoiler motor, various interior trim pieces, and carpeting. The car is finished in Black over a black leather interior and is equipped with a six-speed manual transaxle as well as Porsche Ceramic Composite Brakes (PCCB), heated power-adjustable front seats, and Porsche Communication Management with navigation. Acquired by the seller in 2025, this 996 Turbo cabriolet is now offered with the owner’s manuals, service records, and a Minnesota title in the seller’s name. The car is finished in Black (041), and work completed under previous ownership included replacing the front spoiler, rocker moldings, and fender liners, as well as repainting the front and rear bumper covers. Additional service has included replacing the motor for the speed-activated rear spoiler in March 2024 as well as the hydraulic cylinders and hoses for the black convertible soft top in June 2025. The Carfax report lists an accident in a November 2014 entry, and detailed photos of the exterior imperfections as well as paint-meter readings are visible in the gallery below. The 18″ Turbo Twist wheels were refinished in December 2023 and are wrapped in Michelin Pilot Sport tires. The car is equipped with Porsche Stability Management (PSM) and an automatic brake differential. Braking is from Porsche Ceramic Composite Brakes (PCCB) featuring yellow-painted six-piston front and four-piston rear calipers. The cabin features heated power-adjustable front seats upholstered in black leather that extends to the dashboard and door panels. The center console was painted black in March 2024, and additional service since December 2023 is said to have included replacing the carpeting, passenger-side door lock mechanism, kick panels, rearview mirror, stereo knobs, and front trunk-lid struts. Equipment includes driver-seat position memory settings, a CD stereo, a remote six-disc CD changer, automatic climate control, and navigation. The leather-wrapped steering wheel frames a 200-mph speedometer, a central tachometer, and gauges for coolant temperature, oil pressure, voltage, and fuel level. The digital odometer indicates 44k miles, approximately 500 of which were added under current ownership. The twin-turbocharged 3.6L Mezger flat-six included the Turbo Power Kit as standard, which included revised engine management software and larger turbochargers and intercoolers for a factory rating of 444 horsepower and 457 lb-ft of torque. Service has included replacing the water pump, fuel filter, motor mounts, drive belts, spark plugs, and engine cover struts in December 2023, the battery in October 2024, and the hood actuator in May 2025. An oil change was performed in preparation for the sale. Power is sent to all four wheels through a six-speed manual transaxle. The transaxle mount was replaced in December 2023, and the front axle shafts were rebuilt at that time. The seller states that the driveshaft bearings have also been replaced. The Carfax report shows the aforementioned accident. Filed under: 996, 996 turbo
